Twin Birthdays!
Yesterday was April and Sophia's third birthday! Because nearly everyone at our house has been, to varying degrees, sick over the last week, the party was a low-key, immediate family, soiree. We chowed down on some burned (it cooks a lot faster than the recommended time if you allow it to significantly defrost!) pizza, opened gifts, and mowed down some Oreo cake.
April scored this cool new baby doll.
Phia got a bigger activity table with more moving parts than her old (well used) one.
Phia is not amused by the whole blowing out the candles thing. She just wanted to get her hands on the cake!
The Smokey the Bear side of April came out when it was time to light her candles. We had to do Phia's candles first because April wouldn't have anything to do with an open flame until she confirmed that Phia survived the ordeal.

More Claire Basketball, etc...
Claire's basketball season is winding down. She has one game left. She had a game earlier this evening, from which I have included a few pictures. She scored four points in her previous game. Unfortunately, I had to leave to pick up Jolie during the her scoring part of the game. Fortunately, Poppy, Gigi, Grandma, and Grandpa were all on hand to witness her scoring clinic. They all reported that it was quite exciting. Considering that Claire's team ending up winning by four points, it was also quite useful.
I recently upgraded to a new version of photo processing software. The new version comes with a handy tool that allows me automatically to upload my photos to Flickr. If anyone reading this would like to have access to my Flickr account, let me know and I'll send you an invite.
I know this is not Claire-- I included it because I like the drama...
Here is proof positive of... the final score. I was going to say Claire's contribution, but I don't really have evidence to support that. For anecdotal proof, please feel free to contact any of the four grandparents in attendance. I'm sure they would be happy to tell you all about it!
Oh, by the way, it's officially becoming springy around our house. Or so the flowers seem to think.
