I found this ladybug crawling around the house today. I'm not sure why it was here. They just seem to turn up from time to time. The most likely place to find one around our house is around the upstairs bathroom window. Perhaps we had an infestation at some point-- I don't know. I'll just file it under the same category as belly button lint, all the detritus that ends up under the couch cushions, and other mysteries of the universe. What was I writing about? Oh, that's right-- reasons to dig out the macro lens. This would be one of them. As long as I had things out, I decided to subject a couple of the frogs to a fashion shoot. The frogs fared well, with the exception of all of the lint. They both eventually ended up on the carpet and lint sticks to them like a magnet. Next time I need to remember to take frog pictures on the tile floor.
